Jan Mitra Samadhan Kendra

Spread across 47 centers in Rural Development  block Barai, District Gwalior, The Janmitra experiment is a novel endeavor that harnesses the possibilities of technology adjuncting them with human skills to expedite G2C service delivery at the cutting edge level. Early successes achieved by Janmitra have in fact demonstrated the viability of the model in providing  dedicated public services to citizens in rural areas.

While a basket of 72 services are currently being delivered expeditiously through the 47 Janmitra Samadhan Centres in Gwalior District, an appraisal system to monitor and evaluate the on-field presence of field level functionaries of 13 departments has since been institutionalized.

Data entry under NREGS using MIS has been decentralized to the sub block level though these centers.
